The Day Sling is PERFECT for travel, but not necessary for EDC. I think my sling is meant to be 4L or 4.5L, but it feels like I have 3L.Īs I said, I like the organization for keeping all my little items separate, but sometimes I think having a single “bucket” compartment with stretchy pockets inside would make things quicker and easier to get. One thing I don’t like about having all this organization is that it eats into usable space (similar to backpacks with lots of pockets). I can also carry a 350ml water bottle (roughly 12oz) in the big pocket in front. Having a pocket to store them helps a lot, but it means a lot of zipping and unzipping compartments (there are 3 compartments). I tend to carry a spare tote for emergency shopping, AirPods, keys (I never use key clips in any bag), face-mask, hand sanitizer, and sometimes my wallet. I love all the little pockets inside my Day Sling 2. I have the Day Sling 2 (not 3), which I believe is a bit larger than the updated v3, but design-wise is very similar, so I’ll comment on that aspect.
